I’m pleased to announce that our community of Mitchell will now have access to MRI scans funded through Medicare at Lakeview Hosptial two years ahead of schedule.
I was pleased to join patients, clinicians, hospital leaders and Castlereagh Imaging to advocate for earlier access to Medicare-eligible MRI on behalf of our community.
Bringing forward Medicare-eligible MRI services means more affordable access to important diagnostic imaging services closer to home. I was proud to make the case to government for earlier access for our community.
