The State Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II took place on Monday, 19 September 2022, paying tribute to her extraordinary 70 year reign, and Her Majesty’s remarkable life of service as Head of State, Nation and Commonwealth.
Australians awake today at the deeply sad news that our Queen, Elizabeth II has passed away.
Our longest serving monarch, we will mourn her and we will miss her.
With her goes the best of another age and its values; Duty, Service and Tradition.
We are grateful to have had such a devoted Monarch, who perfectly understood her constitutional role, who held ultimate executive power in check and never sought to exercise it, guaranteeing our nation’s stability and freedom.

Jersey Day is Friday, 2 September, an initiative established by the Gremmo family, in honour of Nathan Gremmo, who tragically lost his life in an accident in May 2015. From this tragedy, through the gift of organ donation, six lives were saved.
