Locals honoured on Australia Day 2025

Congratulations to the residents in the Hills district who received awards as part of the Australia Day 2025 Honours List.
- Mrs Lauretta Claus AM of Kellyville for significant service to international and national basketball as a statistician, and to education.
- Mr William Henderson OAM of Winston Hills for service to football.
- Mr Robert Katz OAM of Northmead for service to judo.
- The late Mr Ronald Lord OAM for service to football.
- Chief Inspector Peter Jenkins APM of Rouse Hill with an Australian Police Medal.
- Ms Sharon Smith PSM of Rouse Hill with a Public Service Medal for outstanding public service to NSW health particularly in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
These awards are well deserved and a wonderful recognition for the incredible service to our community.
