Remembrance Day services - stop, pause and remember

Thank you to the Castle Hill RSL Sub-Branch for hosting the annual service at Castle Hill RSL Club on Remembrance Day. It was a pleasure to thank and present the Hills Year 11 ANZAC Ambassadors for their dedication to their role.  Thank you also to Connie Keith, Chair of The Hills Shire Council - Balcombe Heights Estate Committee on hosting the Remembrance Sunday service at the Soldier’s Memorial at Balcombe Heights Estate

Remembrance Day marks the anniversary of guns falling silent on the Western Front in the First World War. Our nation stands in silent reflection for one minute each year to commemorate and honour the more than 102,000 Australians who have suffered and died in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. It is important that their service and sacrifice is never forgotten.

Lest we forget
