Hawke says Australia needs an end to Labor's Divison and Dysfunction

 Friday, 22nd March 2013

Alex Hawke MP, Federal Member for Mitchell, says Australians are disappointed in the ongoing division and dysfunction that we have all seen in Canberra.

“All Australians are disappointed about what they are seeing from this government.  They are only thinking about themselves and not about the issues facing families, retirees and small business people”, said Alex Hawke.

“I have had so many Labor voters tell me how disappointed they are in a government that has descended into chaos.

“As Tony Abbott has said, we are a great people, a great nation and we are being let down by a bad government that is getting worse.

“My message to the people of Mitchell is that it does not have to be this way.

“Like all the members of the Coalition team, I am focused on talking to people throughout Mitchell about our Real Solutions plan that will deliver a strong, prosperous economy and a safe, secure Australia”.

“Our plan will unleash Australia’s economic potential and create one million new jobs within five years.  We will take pressure off families and abolish the carbon tax, we will help small businesses by cutting $1 billion a year in red tape and we will strengthen the economy by bringing the budget back under control.

“Our plan will help families with cost of living pressures and allow them to plan their futures with confidence.

“No matter when the election is, I will be working everyday talking to residents throughout Mitchell about the Coalition’s positive plans and how we can make our country a better place”, concluded Alex Hawke.
