Congratulations Nathan Hindmarsh - Sporting Champion of Western Sydney

Federal Member for Mitchell, Alex Hawke MP, welcomed the announcement by the New South Wales Premier and Minister for Western Sydney, the Hon Mike Baird MP, in the appointment of Nathan Hindmarsh as the Sporting Champion of Western Sydney.

“Congratulations to Nathan Hindmarsh, a local Hills district resident, on this well-deserved accolade, said Alex Hawke.

“Nathan Hindmarsh is one the ‘greats’ of Rugby League, who played more than 300 NRL games, captained the Parramatta Eels and represented New South Wales and Australia.

“Nathan is a tremendous role model to all young sporting achievers across a variety of codes. His passion for the importance of junior sport being played in our communities is invaluable. I wish him well in his honorary position of the Sporting Champion of Western Sydney,” concluded Alex Hawke.
