Peri-Urban Mobile Program: opportunity for community groups to submit project proposals

The Peri-Urban Mobile Program (PUMP) - Round 2 grant program is to improve mobile phone reception and quality of service for mobile telecommunication users in peri-urban fringe areas to assist during times of emergency.

Round 2 of the Peri-Urban Mobile Program has established a Project Noticeboard so community groups can identify mobile coverage issue to assist Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and Mobile Network Infrastructure Providers (MNIPs) to develop proposed solutions to deliver new or upgraded mobile phone infrastructure in the peri-urban fringe.

The areas impacted within the electorate of Mitchell include North Kellyville, Box Hill, Nelson, Gables and parts of Beaumont Hills, Kellyville, Rouse Hill and Marayla.

I encourage community groups to submit their proposals online to the  Project Noticeboard.
