Remembrance Day marks the anniversary of guns falling silent on the Western Front in the First World War: the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. Our nation stands in silent reflection for one minute each year to commemorate and honour the more than 102,000 Australians who have suffered and died in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.
It is important that their service and sacrifice is never forgotten.

The Australian Government has released the preliminary flight paths for Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport (WSI) for community viewing.
An interactive Aircraft Overflight Noise Tool is available that enables searching an address or a specific location to get a clear picture of the impact of the preliminary flight paths in your area.
Together with Tristan Smith, Chief Executive Officer, it was a privilege to host another 150 student leaders from across 16 schools at the 22nd Mitchell Youth Leadership Forum. The 2023 Mitchell Youth Leadership Forum held on 12-14 October at YMCA, Yarramundi was an incredible success. The Forum is a 2 ½ day live-in program for Year 11 students, based on the values of integrity, service and courage.

It was a great pleasure to recently visit the 2nd Castle Hill Scout Group to present vouchers to the incredible volunteers who give so much of their time to the benefit of the children and families in our community. 2nd Castle Hill Scouts were recipients of the 2022-23 Volunteer Grants program.
