More than 350 Green Army projects are set to be rolled out across Australia in the coming weeks following the announcement of successful projects for Round 2 of this important environmental programme.
“I’m pleased to announce Mitchell in partnership with the Hills Shire Council will be hosting two Green Army projects,” Mr Hawke said.
Federal Member for Mitchell, Alex Hawke MP, welcomed the strong endorsement of Prime Minister Tony Abbott’s leadership and Deputy Liberal Leader Julie Bishop by the party room today.
“While the events of the past two weeks have been unfortunate and unnecessary, the Prime Minister has indicated he has heard the concerns of all colleagues and that his Government will be more consultative and collegiate in the future.”
